We are Data4Life, a nonprofit organization, originating at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam and funded by the Hasso Plattner Foundation.
We believe it’s possible to have a meaningful impact on healthcare by integrating technology, data, and science. That is why we build digital solutions involving data-driven health. Our solutions support the exchange of health data and contribute to health research.
As a nonprofit company, our focus is on co-creating solutions with others. We believe in working closely with partners in the greater health community to achieve our ambitious goals. One of these joint projects is Smart4Health.
The Smart4Health consortium comprises several key medical, academic, and tech partners in the health industry. Data4Life is the main technical implementer within this consortium. Our goal is to develop both the Citizen Health Data Platform and the Research Platform, as well as the infrastructure needed to run such platforms.
