The 4th Smart4Health Health Day took place in Madeira, close to CUC8, between 2 and 6 May 2022. The Health Day was held in collaboration with the “Fundação Portuguesa de Cardiologia” at the “Madeira Digital Health and Wellbeing” initiative stand at “Praça do Povo” on the Funchal bayside waterfront. The event counted on the strong support of the regional government and authorities of tourism and health.
During these days, the local population and tourists of Madeira were able to take part in various awareness-raising actions and lectures under the scope of „Month of the Heart“. Workshops on digital health and different demonstrations of the digital technologies aimed at promoting digital health and wellbeing developed in the context of the Smart4Health project were also conducted. News pieces on the „Madeira Viva“ local TV program and on the local News also served to present the Health Day activities to the local public.
